LINK LOVE 2

Phew! I've been busy working on a new jewelry collection for my shop - trying to get a nice range of pieces ready in time for an upcoming craft fair application! As such, I've been posting a little less frequently here. Hopefully once I finish my application this week, I can get going on some of the projects I have in mind that I'd love to share with all of you! In the meantime, here are a few amazing links from around the web that deserve to be shared:

+ Mab Graves held a Alice in Wonderland solo show at the Monster Gallery in Indianapolis. I would love to have attended, but in lieu of that, I'm happy we were able to view her incredible pieces online! I can't wait for leftover prints to hit her Etsy shop. :)

+ Kailey's dunkin' donuts pool expedition (complete with a giant doughnut float) just might make for the most adorable summer photos I've ever seen.

+ Getting a Glitterati subscription would pretty much make my year. Sparkly hair pretties sent to your door every month? Yes, please!

+ Amy shared this delicious watermelon breeze drink recipe... and it actually sounds easy enough for me to try! That's saying something. Hah.

+ After seeing Claire's colorful goodies haul post, I have stationery envy! Pretty, huh?

+ I could happily share every single one of Sarah's posts - she's quickly becoming one of my favorite bloggers! But I'll just share this one and trust you to browse through the rest. :) Sarah wrote about learning to stop taking things personally - I cannot tell you how much I agree with this!

+ I plan to write more on this subject soon, but here's a little glimpse into what I've been listening to ("reading" via audio book) lately: The Vorkosigan Saga. Beloved by both my brother, Corbin, and my friend, Carolyn (whom I've known since fifth grade), I somehow missed the train while we were growing up. So far, I've been able to borrow all of the audio books via Overdrive (online library access) and listen to them for free!

+ Jenny and Aaron's peek into their art journal reminds me that I need to start art journaling again! If only there were 50 hours in a day. *sigh*

+ Check out Jade and Dave's awesome pirate-themed wedding! Rock 'n' Roll Bride happens to be one of my favorite blogs - creative inspiration galore!

+ Laura frequently shares thoughts on size discrimination in posts like these, bringing to light some of the issues in the fashion world. Take a read through her blog - there's a lot of interesting and thought-provoking content there! She also shared this post on neutrality in situations of injustice. I couldn't agree with her more.

+ Elizabeth's candid story of her changing perspective on bras cracked me up. I love her honesty and the cute bras she shared!

+ I collected bras from my friend, Ty Huynh, her sister, and myself over a year ago, but only got around to shipping them out last week. They're headed to Free the Girls, an organization that provides second-hand bras to women rescued from sex trafficking, who sell them to earn a living. Ladies - if you have a few bras sitting unworn in a drawer somewhere, I'd encourage you to send them in!

+ If you're super observant, you may have noticed that I changed my profile picture (on the right sidebar of my blog). That photo is actually a little preview of an upcoming photo shoot post that I can't wait to share! I'll be sharing more previews this week on my Instagram, so follow along to see them! :)
