Kelsea Echo Shop Launch!!

Eeep! As you may know, nearly three months ago, I quit my job in accounting to blog and start up my jewelry business. Since then, I've been spending my days blogging and preparing for today: LAUNCH DAY!

For my first collection, I decided on a theme that has been interpreted in so many ways by so many different artists. It's one theme I don't think I will ever get tired of.

So, without further ado, I'd like to present the Wonderland collection!

There are plenty more pieces in my shop - this is just a sampling! I decided to stick with three main sub-themes for inspiration: Alice and the White Rabbit, the Queen of Hearts, and the Cheshire Cat. Almost all of the pieces are one-of-a-kind or limited in quantity. :)

I also want to add a shout-out to my favorite artist, who designed my logo a few years back (I've been planning this for a while now... haha). You can tell it was from a few years ago because my hair was blonde with pink streaks then (hence the logo girl's hair). If you haven't heard of her, you should absolutely go check out Miss Kika! Pure pretty pastel rainbow kawaii goodness! Once I get my Miss Kika pieces framed, I'll be sharing pictures of those on here. :)

Having limited Illustrator experience and no formal training, it took me forever to research, design, and order custom packaging using my beautiful logo, but I think it was definitely worth it! To me, opening a package from an indie shop is like opening a present to yourself, so I wanted to create that experience.

I also wanted to add that it's my best friend's birthday. Happy birthday, Zoe!! Zoe is multi-talented, having worked/trained in graphic design, industrial design, and architecture. She has been so much help with my blog/business over the years. Zoe gave me Illustrator lessons and also came up with a starting point for my packaging. She did my very first blog photoshoot (for my old blog, Pink Wonderland) and designed nearly all of the graphics and ads for Pink Wonderland. She also drove up from Portland to come to my very first jewelry photo shoot (you'll see it when I launch that collection), spending the entire day with me, offering moral support, and helping out with all sorts of things (like picking up lunch, which I had zero time for)! And that only begins to cover blog/business help - doesn't even scratch the surface of our friendship. If I dive into everything, I could fill up way more than a blog post! Anyway, wish I was in Portland to hang out with you today! Miss you! <3

P.S. I just want to say THANK YOU for all of the support so many of you have shown for my blog and business! Having had Instagram and this blog for just a few months, I'm so happy with the growth (though I know it is small beans for a lot of my fellow bloggers)! A few stats to be thankful for:
+ Bloglovin: 21 followers
Kels Shark Facebook: 102 followers
Instagram: 145 followers
Twitter: 171 followers
+ Kelsea Echo Facebook: 197 followers
+ Pinterest: 393 followers

P.P.S. I created a newsletter sign-up for my shop! Sign up and I'll also send you something special on your birthday! :)

  2. Kelsea....... these are AMAAAAAZING!! Simply amazing, super pretty and just adorable! Your etsy shop is just as cute, the logo is ADORABLE (your friend is super talented and did such a great job!) Everything just looks so professional, I LOVE IT!!! I am so happy for you and that's amazing that you quit three months ago and look at everything you have done! I quit my job four months ago and am not even close to being done to opening my shop (mine isn't going to be jewelry like you, but digital art like clip art and stuff) So proud of you, you've definitely inspired me to get my butt into gear and work hard on my art so I can get my shop up too! Congrats again and oh I signed up for the newsletter too :D
